Strong Starts For Miller & MacDonald In WDC

Marcus Miller (USA) and James MacDonald (Canada) are first and second, respectively, after the first day of the World Driving Championship, held Saturday at Century Downs Racetrack & Casino in Alberta.

Miller and MacDonald both posted two wins from the five races, with Sweden's Bjorn Goop winning the remaining contest. Miller wound up with 57 points on the day, followed by MacDonald with 50 and Shane Graham (Australia) with 48.

The competition now moves to Ontario, with leg two on August 14 at Mohawk.
