My Minnnie Chip, a two-year-old filly by Chip Chip Hooray tied the national season's record for rookie trotting fillies on a five-eighths mile last evening at The Meadows.

Trained by Bruce Riegle for Black Horse Racing of New Jersey, the filly marched to the front against older rivals and lead every step of the mile to win her second straight in 1:57.4f.
