Woodlands Stud of New Zealand has announced the purchase of trotting sire Pegasus Spur 3,1:54 ($1,302,599).
The 12-year-old son of S Js Photo - Keystone Imperial had been standing at Seelster Farms of Ontario on behalf of the Pegasus Spur Group LLC of Ohio. Pegasus Spur had been a shuttle stallion to Ne Zealand and Australia for several seasons.
The horse is now in quarantine awaiting departure for New Zealand where he will stand for the upcoming southern hemisphere breeding season.
In his North American career, Pegasus Spur sired winners of over $6.4 million with 17 $100,000 earners and 29 two minute performers.
