Kinghaven’s Former Bookkeeper Sentenced
Dec 11

Christiane Krohn, longtime bookkeeper for David Willmot’s Kinghaven Farms near King City, Ontario, received a 15 month sentence after being found guilty of fraud over $5,000.

Police charged the 58 year-old with misappropriating more than half a million from the renowned Thoroughbred operation over a seven year period.

Kinghaven was established by Hall of Fame member, the late Bud Willmot, and is now operated by his son David, also a member of Canada’s Horse Racing Hall of Fame and currently Chair and CEO of Woodbine Entertainment Group.

Krohn turned herself into police in February of this year.
